VENDORS & FLEXIBILITY
07
Can we choose our own vendors?
Yes! Aside from the required planning partnership with Blake Events and an approved caterer, you are free to choose your florist, DJ/band, photographer, make up artist, etc. We also provide a recommended vendor guide filled with helpful vendor recommendations that are trusted by our venue and our couples.
Do we have to use a specific caterer?
We offer a curated list of 7 trusted, high-quality caterers who are familiar with Hazelwood’s space and standards. This ensures a smooth experience and excellent service on your day.
Is bar service included?
Hazelwood is a “BYOB” venue meaning alcohol may be supplied by the client (or purchased through your caterer or delivery service). Bar service details vary based on your selected package and caterer. We are happy to walk through these options with you during your tour.

Do you require a coordinator?
Yes! Once you book your venue, it can suddenly feel like there’s a lot to figure out. That’s why we’ve already thought of that for you! We partner exclusively with Blake Events, so you’re never left wondering what to do next. Pricing is customized so you can pick the level of support that fits your needs best, with a minimum of 90 days of coordination required.
Important to note:
• Hazelwood has dedicated staff who we refer to as “venue representatives” and they function as a host and oversee everything related to the venue
• Blake Events manages your timeline, vendor coordination, set up/tear down, planning support, and event logistics
• The cost of coordination is separate from the venue rental so you can select the Blake Events planning package that best fits your needs. Hazelwood couples receive exclusive discounted rates.
